  • 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter

  • 1 tablespoon chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon almonds (chopped)
  • ¼ cup blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Equipment

  • Jar
  • Container

Method

Infuse the Milk
  1. In a separate jar or container, pour ½ cup of milk (of choice). Split a whole vanilla bean lengthwise and add it to the milk, along with one cinnamon stick. Cover the container and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 8 hours, allowing the exquisite flavors to meld and deepen. The next morning, strain the milk, discarding the vanilla bean and cinnamon stick. You now have beautifully infused milk, ready for your oats!
Combine Base Ingredients
  1. In a large glass container – such as a mason jar – combine the now infused milk with ½ cup of rolled oats, ¼ cup of Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon of chia seeds, and 1 tablespoon of your desired sweetener (honey or maple syrup).
  2. If you like an extra boost of flavor, you can add ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract at this stage. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture starts to thicken slightly, creating a smooth, creamy base.
Chill for Soaking
  1. Once everything is mixed, cover the glass container tightly with a lid or plastic wrap. Place it back in the refrigeration for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight. This extended chilling time allows the flavors to truly integrate and the oats to soften to their optimal creamy, pudding-like texture.
Add Toppings & Serve
  1. The next day, uncover your container. You'll be greeted with a creamy, pudding-like texture that's ready to enjoy. Now it's time for the fun part: adding toppings! Add most toppings, especially fresh fruit, just before serving to maintain freshness and texture. Dig in and enjoy!
  2. If you prefer a thinner consistency, simply thin with a little more milk or water, a tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired preference.

Notes

Embrace the unique vanilla-cinnamon milk infusion for superior flavor. For best results, allow optimal chill time (at least 8 hours for infusion, 4+ hours for soaking). Layer fresh fruit, nuts, or syrups just before serving to maintain texture and appearance.
