Combine Ingredients
- Begin by adding all of your ingredients to a high-speed blender. That includes the frozen mango chunks, frozen pineapple chunks, greek yogurt, mango juice, white grape juice, xanthan gum, and my secret ingredient: the tablespoon of chia seeds. There's no particular order needed here; simply get everything into the blender container.
Blend to Perfection
- Secure the lid and blend until all the ingredients are beautifully smooth and thoroughly combined. The consistency you're looking for is thick, creamy, and entirely uniform, without any visible chunks of fruit. The key here is to not over blend. Once you achieve that perfect velvety texture, stop the blender. Over-blending can introduce too much air, making your smoothie frothy and potentially thinning it out.
Serve and Enjoy
- Once blended to that glorious, thick consistency, pour your homemade McDonalds Mango Pineapple Smoothie Copycat into a tall glass. Grab a straw and enjoy immediately for the freshest, most refreshing experience. The vibrant tropical flavors of mango and and pineapple truly shine when served cold!
Notes
For the best texture, always use frozen fruit. If the smoothie is too thick, add more juice or water; if too thin, add more frozen fruit or ice. For maximum thickness from chia seeds, let it sit for 5-10 minutes after blending. Best enjoyed immediately, but can be stored in the fridge for 24-48 hours, or frozen for longer. Stir or re-blend before serving if stored. Nutrition information is estimated based on common ingredients and serving sizes and may vary.
