  • 1-2 inches fresh ginger root thinly sliced
  • 1-2 inches fresh turmeric root thinly sliced
  • raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar with the "mother" enough to submerge ginger and turmeric for infusion, plus 1-2 tablespoons per daily drink
  • 1 glass water filtered
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional, or other natural sweetener
  • a splash fresh lemon juice optional

Method
 

Infuse Your ACV Base (The Unique Twist)
  1. Begin by thinly slicing about 1-2 inches of fresh ginger root and 1-2 inches of fresh turmeric root. You can peel them if desired, but a good scrub is often enough, especially for organic roots. The thinner the slices, the more surface area for infusion.
  2. Place the sliced ginger and turmeric into a clean glass jar.
  3. Pour enough raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar with the "mother" over the ginger and turmeric to fully submerge them.
  4. Seal the jar tightly and place it in a cool, dark pantry for 24-48 hours. Taste it after 24 hours to gauge the strength of the infusion. If you prefer a more intense flavor, let it infuse for another day. You'll notice the ACV taking on a lovely golden hue from the turmeric.
  5. Once infused to your liking, strain out the ginger and turmeric slices. You now have a flavorful, ready-to-use ginger-turmeric infused ACV concentrate. Store this concentrate in an airtight container in a cool, dark place or refrigerator for up to 2-3 weeks.
Prepare Your Daily Drink
  1. Take 1-2 tablespoons of your prepared ginger-turmeric infused apple cider vinegar.
  2. Pour it into a tall glass.
  3. Add a full glass of filtered water. It's crucial that ACV is acidic, so it should always be diluted with water to prevent damage to teeth and stomach. Never drink it straight!
  4. If desired, stir in a teaspoon of honey or a splash of fresh lemon juice for added flavor. These additions not only sweeten the drink but also enhance its refreshing aroma and taste.
