Ingredients

  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup pomegranate arils (plus more for serving)
  • ½ teaspoon lemon zest
  • Pinch sea salt

Equipment

  • High-speed blender

Method

Prep Your Ingredients
  1. Gather all your ingredients. If your banana isn't already frozen, peel it, break it into chunks, and freeze for at least 30 minutes, or ideally, several hours. Measure out your orange juice, strawberries, Greek yogurt, and pomegranate arils. Zest your lemon and measure out the pinch of sea salt.
Combine & Blend to Creamy Perfection
  1. Place all ingredients—orange juice, strawberries, banana, Greek yogurt, pomegranate arils, lemon zest, and sea salt—into a high-speed blender. Blend for 60-120 seconds until wonderfully smooth and creamy with no visible fruit chunks. If using a regular blender, you might need to blend longer, stopping to stir occasionally.
Adjust & Serve Immediately
  1. Taste your smoothie. If it's too thick, add a splash more orange juice or milk until desired consistency is reached. For more sweetness, add a small amount of liquid sweetener like honey or maple syrup. Pour into a cup and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Enjoy immediately for best flavor. Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. For optimal creaminess, use frozen banana and strawberries. Don't skip the lemon zest and sea salt for balanced flavor.
